engine immobilizer
Hi All
Anybody help before I burn this dam thing, went to start car this morning battery reading 11.9 volts ,turned on ignition went to second position, engine immobilizer warning came on(car as not been used for two weeks) used other key, same result.Worked perfectly last time car started, same keys same batteries (one new).Have another !2v battery on charge although I can:t see that makes any difference but you never know.I do have another key and ( I think ) an immobilizer ecu from a spare car I had ,possible to swap chip and ecu over! Any help appreciated. WallyH |

Modern cars need a healthy battery, anything less than 12v won't cut the mustard

Well I found the problem, I think my fob chips must reside in a landfill site near Exeter .Sorry, any idea how I go about obtaining replacements please!
