By the time I got my Wellies on and got to them, they had legged it into the forest. I later discovered, they had taken all of our ducks. We have geese, chickens untouched, so will have to be vigilant in the run up to Christmas.

I hope your feeling okay for tomorrow’s funeral. It will be a sad day for you and the family, but hopefully it will bring relief when your Aunt is laid to rest. RIP
Time to get the rifle out Phil, and shoot at the thieving gets.

Oh for a dog warden! Get them patrolling in the museum next door fairly regular. I'd pay to see her reaction if she got slapped with a fine for it.

On the subject of fines, been watching the C5 programme about fare dodgers on the London buses and underground. One incident in particular amused me, coloured woman got caught not tapping her oyster card to pay the fare on the bus, inspector who caught her was coloured. He was trying to get her name and address to issue a penalty fare, her response was "you shouldn't be doing this to me, we are the same colour!"

Just had Meg back at the vets for a check, she has to keep the stitches in for another week.

No charge for the exam which was good, but it cost £7 for a squeaky ball as I made it squeak on the rack and she wouldn’t take her eyes off it!!

Bad move! Back in the days when you could take dogs into shops my father had our Dachshund in Boots. He looked round and the dog (Dougal) was wandering along with a fancy, toy shaped, bar of soap in his mouth! My father took it off him and put it back on the shelf, often wonder what whoever went to buy it thought of the teethmarks in it

Stop using words which are not in my vocabulary - me no understand "radiator", "turned up", "max" in relation to heating
