Just to reitterate what has been said above...
Have you checked the ECU for signs of water damage? This can cause problems of untold mayhem if it has got wet... If T4 can comunicate successfully with the car then do not assume that the ECU is ok. Have you fitted a new battery? Regardless of what condition your battery is, try another brand new one - just in case. |

An update, now that the car has been off the road for ages.
The heater plug relay was dodgy, so that was replaced. The theory was that the heater plugs (aka glow plugs, diesel engine!) were not on for long enough. But of course, that didn't fix it. A wiring problem that was suspected could not be traced. So then they looked at the injectors, took them all out and sent them off for diagnosis ... the diagnosis being that all 4 have failed. How likely is it that all 4 will fail at once? |

I have not heard of that before on this or other Forums but perhaps one of our Car Maintainance Service members could shed more light on this?

Hi,
After checking the drains at the front as stated above, check to see if there is water in the boot, where the spare wheel is. I had a lot of electrical problems but eventually found water in the spare wheel well. |

Huh? How did that cause electrical problems? Is there a bunch of wires near there somewhere?
