Default PCV Filter seal not put back - Safe?

Hi,

Just changed the PCV Filter (150k miles and was still the original big one from production line!)

changed the outer seals on the casing but - STUPID ME - have taken the small circular seal under the filter out and forgotten to put the new one in .

Just put everything back together again and shut the bonnet and seen it sitting in the box!

I've just run of out of light outside so cant go putting it in now ... Am I ok to drive it without the small circular seal in the filter casing at least until the weekend?

Thanks for any advice.

I did the same thing and did not realise until two weeks later.
Ran no different and appeared to do no harm.

I have serviced a couple of cars that showed at least 10,000 miles past the service interval, one didn't have the small seal, one was missing the rh side PVC seal!

No adverse effects on both except the one with the rh seal missing took a few hours to clean the muck off the engine.
