Default I had To Laugh....

Was driving to work t'other day in Glasgow.
Doing 30 in a 30 limit.
Roads wide enough to have 2 cars side by side though not a dual carriageway & I'm approaching lights turning left. Imagine my surprise when I glance to my right & see a Landrover overtaking both myself & the woman to my right on the wrong side of the road - only to be halted in his speedy endeavours by said traffic lights.
I looked at the woman next to me & just shrugged.
What is wrong with some people??

Must have been the same LandRover that, as i slowed down for traffic and looked in my rear view mirror. I saw a Rangerover bearing down on me with smoke pouring from the tyres. Luckily, he moved into the hard shoulder and stopped parallel to my windscreen.

"Speedy endeavors" - I'm going to inject that phrase into as many sentences as I can this week

RangeRover driver's are a bunch of ignor... Do'h

Pity you wasn't an unmarked copper. I know it's an old cliché but there's never one around when you want one.

On my way home from p
blackpool last night we hit a fog bank around the lakes , i was overtaken by a landrover discovery just as we emerged from the fog and he left his foglights on for the next 50 or so miles , maybe it,s a landrover thing .

On another note i noted the worst drivers owned BMWs and AUDIs.

However bad driver of the day award goes to the young lady in red clapped out clio who kept swerving around other cars while (using her phone) (eating a sandwich) (drinking from a bottle) you name it she did it , at least she kept me entertained for 60 or so miles .

Did anyone see the programme on tv a few weeks ago, a woman turned right into a main road cutting up a car which just happened to have an onboard camera, when they came to a row of stationary traffic, she stuck her nose out as if to overtake on the wrong side of the road, but the traffic moved a few feet, she pulled back in behind for a few feet and then swung out and shot down the wrong side of the road and almost hit a car pulling out of a side street, the guy with the camera decides to follow her anticipating an accident, a mile or so further on she again goes to the wrong side of the road to overtake traffic and she knocks a guy over who was crossing the road, while one of the guys jumps out to check on the pedestrian and phone police/ambulance the driver gives chase and catches her further down the road, when he told to stay put and the police were coming, she didn't even know what she had done.
Thankfully the pedestrian survived and the driver was banned from driving for LIFE.

The film was on Youtube a couple of years ago.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

I do agree somewhat, Derek. However looking at the big picture to compare the number of vehicles on the road per mile, the accident rate in this country is very low compared to most other countries Bearing in mind the congestion on our roads, the Brits seem to be the best drivers in the world

However there are a minority who do their best to remove us from that league
