Ash cloud
Iceland would prefer people not to make jokes about the ash cloud.
They'd prefer them to wait for the dust to settle. Russ

I can't wait for the second (tandem) volcano to blow!! Bring back the propellor powered aeroplanes. Much more serene and pleasant sounding And they have air filters which can cope with dust!! So it takes a little longer, maybe it's about time the world slowed down and allowed people to have some quiet time......
I had a text today from a friend (who is not politically motivated)... ! "At this election I am voting for the Icelandic Party. They have done more in a few days for immigration than the Labour party has done in 10 years!!"...

The BBC are reporting that after the cloud of dust that closed all UK airports, police have arrested the cleaner of the trophy cabinet at West Bromwich Albion in connection with the incident.......

There must be some automatic sending thing going on as I had about five others (not suitable for here) from my daughter as well. Don't know where she learnt about those sort of things though. I thought her mother had brought her up better than that.

I came back to France on April 23rd (one day before coming over to the UK for the National Meet on Sun 25th...) and after being uncertain for a while that I would have a flight at that time.
On the 23rd, I could not start my car engine due to battery being completely discharged (well yes, she had been parked for a very long time). When the AA man came over, he asked what was the reason the car did not start. With all the dust on the car, I told him that it must have been this ash cloud thing (the car is on a 3rd underground spot). He replied "Oh I see" and carried on his work as if nothing unusual

Just flew back from Ireland ( www.fiddlefair.com )
A local there told us all the ash has now descended in altitude to sea level and all the Ferries are cancelled
