it does need to run on XP... however you can (as in my case) run 32 bit XP on a 64bit PC...

Tell me more as I have a genuine XP disc service pack 2 and it wont load on a 5 year old Dell.

No idea chap... but I have a HP pavilion Dragon 64 bit laptop which runs XP quite happily...

Check the BIOS settings, perhaps there is something in there??

I have a Samsung R 530 Lap Top running windows 7 Home premium

Processor pentium dual core CPU [email protected]

RAM 6.00GB

System 6.4 Bit Operating System.

Would this be OK?

As this is my every day Lap Top would it be OK or would I need a dedicated Lap Top ?

Would be very useful over here

Depending on your requirements, you can have a dedicated XP laptop or you can run the system on a 64 bit OS using a virtual machine, i use VMware for all my development and it all works fine.
