V6 Fuel rail which 'o' ring needs replacing
I have removed the fuel rail from a donor vehicle to replace the leaking one on my car but have read about having to replace a 'o' ring that is not available on its own. My question is which one do i need to replace? Is it one where the metal pipe goes into the fuel line or where the same pipe goes into the front fuel rail? In the images below there are 2 'o' rings & 2 seals that go into the front fuel rail but i couldnt see anything on the other end of the metal pipe that goes into the fuel line. Any help would be much appreciated.

There's a kit on eBay at the moment and it seems to have all the seals for injectors.Item No. 151012839854

Are you wanting to the replace the fabled o-ring before fitting the rail so to prevent a leak? I take it that it isn't leaking atm (as you've not fitted it to test)?
If so it is where Fusilier says, one green-brown o-ring, not available separately. Contact Terry of TS Autos, he can sell you two (thinner but correct diameter) o-rings to replace the original one. Cost me £5 for both last December. A lot cheaper than £400 to replace the whole rail with a new one!! |

As Colin has said, get them from TS Auto's. I got mine from my local mechanic, as he had a box with thousands of o rings, but very diffucult to get hold of, so best option is as above Stu |

I had the same problem but on the other side. Don't know if the seals are the same size on that side but have a read here if it helps. The sizes were not common so I had to order from the internet.
