left it for a few hours and perhaps due to filling the washer bottle back up the weight/pressure of water is showing a leak.
From what I can see it is where the pump pushes into the bottle.

There is a load of crud there so I will clean it up and take a better look

Treat that like any water leak, cleaned up, a wrap of PTFE tape and should all seal. At least finding that, you have eliminated other more serious matters.
