It seems that we have to draw a line under Boris problems.

Tenders will no doubt be invited for the supply of several million pencils and rulers to government departments!

Will there be enough???

He has only the one problem. At least, insofar as the HoC is concerned. Himself.

He does not command the respect his office deserves. The previous 5 PM’s have not helped either, between them they created the precedents of square pegs in round ones – he is just the latest to enjoy the fruits of a corrupt and corrupting system. We are poorly represented. Some might say it accurately represents the electorate - at least in part!

The recurring problems are not new. It is a matter of subservience to the boss and the system, those who can be blackmailed and those who can't. The PM holds all the cards.

Whether you like Boris or not, there will always be dissenters - those who are Remainers, those passed over for office, those sacked because they were not up to scratch and those who want lower/higher taxes. Who would be PM for a salary dwarfed by Trade Union Leaders, CEOs, Civil Servants and Council Officials?
I wouldn't!

You forgot to mention good, honest, decent people who would like to see some honesty and standards in public life, especially from the very top of the country's leadership.

I don't remember anyone twisting BoJO's arm to become PM - in fact someone who knows him said earlier this week that it will take a group of people with revolvers to drag him out of the PM job. In any case, your wording seems to imply, at least to someone with my questionable standards of English, that we can only expect a corrupt PM of extremely low morals. Is this really all we should aspire to from our leaders?

Joe Public were lied to, Joe Public were told at the time, they were being lied to, still they stayed at home, still they donned their masks, and so much worse, still they rolled up their sleeves for the injections.
It's now rudely apparent that the difference between a conspiracy theory and the truth is about six to eight months.

With each new dawn and each new day yet another lie is revealed, let alone misdemeanour, about government operations. Who knows if they are diversions tied up in obfuscations or downright deliberate lies? We are badly served by our representatives, of every colour.

‘For those that left their loved ones to die left alone’? Really? 'Shame on you all'?

They had no choice, no alternative. They were threatened with prosecution – even jail. Care homes were bolted and guarded. Where are we? China? You might want to revisit that sentence Wizzo!
