Holy Moly It's sizzling out there now, Yellow warning out for thunderstorms this afternoon Hope it takes the sting out of this heat.


Cant get the cats away from that bedroom fireplace since the pigeon made it's presence felt again, Still too far up the chimney for me to reach up.

Its warm here but cloudy, much more pleasant than yesterday. Pops is looking gorgeous again, she's still mildly stoned, came in and went straight to sleep on the sofa. I'll take a pic later, once the tranquilliser wears off.

Shopping this afternoon . . . . considering a green Thai chicken curry for this evening.

There's a local haulage company that operates tipper trucks. The drivers are maniacs, think the old Stanley Baker film Hell Drivers. This happened earlier today and came as no surprise:



One of them has crashed through a wall at a roundabout about a mile from here and ended up on the East Coast Main line stopping what few trains are running.

Evening all.

Been a strange day for me. Not firing on all cylinders either. Went shopping to Tesco’s in Lee Mill, left list and bags at home. Got over the bridge when it dawned on me that no list or bags. Turned back to home to collect. 2nd attempt but decided to go to Morrisons in Liskeard instead.

Waiting for the storm to arrive, supposed to be hitting us hard this evening.

Interesting dinner, proper smoked haddock none of the dyed stuff, green salad, cherry toms, red peppers, garlic stuffed olives and some pineapple chunks.

Unless it was a mechanical failure or something he'll not be driving tippers for a while when VOSA (or whatever they're called these days) are done with him





I think proper smoked haddock is my favourite meal Bob, absolutely love it, We're having left over Bolognese pasta from last night for tea.

Unsurprisingly the driver was taken to hospital, no info has been released yet. Lets just say this company has a reputation, locals know to give their trucks a wide berth.
