Ging has me in the kitchen again, this time making something I've never made before, Siopao, those "Chinese" steamed buns with pork in the middle. Dough is sitting on the heater rising just now. Dough gets divided into individual portions, flattened out and closed up around the pork in the middle and steamed. See what they turn out like.

Those sound yum Steve.

Shop bought ASDA Lasagne & garlic bread for tea tonight.

Evenin All
How’s everyone doing?
I’ve just come back from a 180 mile ride out in the 260, it passed it’s MOT yesterday having been laid up since August 2019. It’s going really nicely & the few little jobs it needed to get it up to scratch have made it drive loads better than it did when I last used it. Standing around has however taken its toll & it will need some TLC in the form of stripping, cleaning & painting the subframes etc. It also requires a bit of bodywork where someone chucked a gate down the side of it......I was less than impressed when I found that bit out.

Well. I'm in no hurry to make siopau again, what a labour intensive PITA! 14 left after Ging had some before going to work. The rest are all hers, I don't like the pork filling she used plus I've no interest in food anyway.

Evening all, been a hectic one here today, swapped a seat base for Rogue this morning then headed out with Meg for a nice long walk.

Came home and cleaned the oven, then cut the grass for the first time since last year, now beef madras cooking and a Guinness is going down well, looking forward to watching the final of crufts (Come on ya Border collies)

After a rather hectic day yesterday first fixing all the new electrics I've been taking it easy today, feet up and watched the Italian Job followed by the Man with the Golden Gun and now about to have short rib of beef in beer for dinner, it's been simmering away in the oven for the last 4 hours.
Cheers Ian
