A few more photo's including forum member Shonkie's MK4 Ford Cortina, an ongoing project. Plus the breakfast with lots of beans.

The studio is all ready for accepting clients. A few bits and bobs I want to finish but it's useable as is. I will be doing portrait work, pet photography and commercial/product photography in the studio. I've held off advertising until now when Covid restrictions have ended. I will however be sensible and restrict the number of clients per session, sanitise surfaces and keep the studio well ventilated. Over the next few weeks I'll be updating my website and Facebook Business page with price structures and links for online booking. Fingers crossed we will get some work come in and the business slowly build up. I will still be doing my other photography work so hoping I can run both alongside each other for the foreseeable future

Mornin' We were invited to a friend's birthday lunch (about 14-15 of us in all) at a fancy restaurant up in Dundee on Saturday. Disappointing! The starters were pre ordered, mixed platters. Breaded haggis balls which were overcooked resulting in a brick hard shell and the haggis inside was like slightly peppery porridge; onion rings that managed to be both overcooked and raw, the batter was hard but the onion inside was raw; chicken wings that were overcooked to the point of dehydration and garlic bread that had the consistency of chipboard.
The main, I had king prawn linguini, very generous six prawns! Ging had salmon which she sent back, overcooked and smelt iffy, others had sea bass which also smelt iffy and was sent back. Woman sitting opposite us had chicken balmoral which was supposed to come with roast veg, roast veg was conspicuous by its absence. When we left Den, who's birthday doo it was, left the restaurant in no doubt what he thought about the food. I think he got a substantial discount, if not he should have. Certainly won't be back there again. Last edited by stevestrat; 28th February 2022 at 11:01.. |

I'm currently having a series of nerve blocks Phil, then back in for surgery for round three. I wouldn't normally mind, but I find the recovery process is the pits, it's taken me over a year just to get back to normal, whatever normal is? Great pics as always Bob. |
