Morning all.

Same here too - bright, sunny and cold. But I'll happily take that over dark, windy and wet .

Any of that cake left Rich? Or have the monsters, aka offspring, devoured it? And what sort of cake was it? Fruit? sponge? Catch up at the weekend.

Take care everyone.

still loads left, its a sponge cake.
. Same weather here; a former work colleague passed away yesterday so hopefully his funeral will be after the restrictions lift too.
I imagine lots will want to go as he was well respected throughout the north east coach industry.

Cool

Morning everyone.

The forecast is rain, and even more rain. Currently we have blue sky and it’s very warm.

He's got Jeff's cutlery right enough.

Spotted a long tail under the bird feeders a few times in the last couple of days, I can see the air rifle coming out again.

Unusual for it to be out during daylight; the trsps I set in greenhoyse baited with pouson blocks covered un peanut butter haven't been touched for about 3 weeks . Not sure if they have been burrowing under the hen house again though.

Can't take the chance on poison because of the girls, a lead injection will be the solution!

Waiting for the doc to phone. Had problems with really severe acid indigestion a while ago, doc gave me omeprazol which killed it stone dead but they wouldn't put me on a repeat Ging has them on repeat so been taking hers but she's having problems and had to start taking them again. I stopped them for a couple of days and the full catalogue of acid indigestion returned including that God awful acid reflux during the night

I take Omeprazol too, couldn't do without that medication otherwise my stomach would dissolve .

I've been making room to get the dwarf sunflowers inside the greenhouse again, Some of the plants look a bit bedraggled that were left outside last night & it's going to be -2C overnight again. This season has been the coldest start to the growing season for a long time I've ordered some more rolls of fleece because the big sheets of bubblewrap are starting to squash the seedlings, It's probably too late for this year by the time they arrive but they'll be ready for the next frosts.

Doc phoned and proved they don't look at your notes before speaking to you. I explained the problem then the conversation went like this:
"Acid can be caused by lifestyle, do you drink a lot of caffeine?"
"Yes, I was advised to by the liver specialist."
"Oh . . . . I'd better have a look at your notes."
Silence for a couple of minutes.
"Ok, I'll do you a prescription for omeprazol. You can collect it at the chemist later today."
