Evening all. Had a bit of an embarrasing moment in the petrol station tonight - went to fill my new car up and didn't realise the fuel filler cap was on the other side.

Apparently the needle on the fuel gauge always points towards the filler cap?

I've been searching afield & one place in Bacup is the back of beyond & only local people will know where the dung pile is on the top o the moors, I'm not wasting my time looking around dirt roads that google earth know nowt about.

Another one advertising free horse manure out on the moors atop of Bolton replied to my email saying I need to meet you first!!! Ey up! He said I'll be there around 10:00pm I said where! there are farm buildings & endless dirt roads with the postcode you gave me on google earth, I said why do you need to meet me first? Can you not give me the co-ordinates using What3words which would pinpoint the location down to one metre, I told him I'm not driving down unlit lanes at 10:00pm looking for places in the pitch black, I never heard back from him

I've emailed someone in Wigan advertising well rotted free horse muck, when they got back to me they said It's not for the faint hearted!!! It's a long trek from where you park up to where the dung pile is I give up I'm not walking miles with bags o donkey doo's, The search continues

Cool

Morning all.

And it’s raining, just for a change.

Going to venture out today, to the tip.

I'm waiting on a guy emailing me back who advertises on that 'Pre-loved' site, Free horse muck already bagged but it's not well rotted, Makes no difference as I don't need it on me raised beds until next growing season, It can rot down in the bags til then.

Thought I may have to do a tip run this week after this https://www.itv.com/news/meridian/20...ng-bin-lorries but happy to say Weymouth council got a replacement fleet up and running after just one day so well done to them.

Morning all - apologies for being absent on parade yesterday - I couldn't find my way to the site through all the horse manure
Cloudy and windy here - still quite mild, but apparently that's all going to change tomorrow with single figure temperatures and potential frost overnight.
Just booked my car in for its annual service - 1,007 miles since it was last serviced on 3rd December 2019

Cool

Good morning everyone.

Blue sky this morning but a tad chilly. I don’t mind it being cold, it’s the rain that I get fed up with.

Essential shopping today, will take the Yellow one for the run to Callington.
