NHS . . . . not the treatment side but the admin. I got a letter today telling me to phone re an appointment about the haywire hormone levels. Phoned only to be told I'd been removed from the waiting list as I hadn't responded within 7 days to a letter dated 31/05 . . . . that's the letter I had in front of me, I only just received it, obviously no allowance made for the fact the country was shut from Thursday to Sunday for the jubilee. Had to phone another number to be met with the message "you are number nine in the queue", to hell with that! Phoned again later, number four in the queue, much thumb twiddling later I spoke to someone, I'd only just been removed from the system so was reinstated easily and actually got an appointment.

That's ridiculous Steve, Glad you've got it sorted out. I've had problems speaking to my doctor, Still no face to face appointments & he wont speak patients on the phone unless it's absolutely necessary so everything is email only.

Cool

Morning everyone.

At least it has stopped raining, for now.

Had a very uncomfortable nights sleep as my mattress has collapsed in the middle. So this morning I took the mattress off and put the spare one on. Whilst everything was off then time to vac the mattress and change the sheets, pillowcases and quilt cover.

Got a lady from a local awning company coming over today to give me an estimate for a powered awning over the decking.

Fed the goldfish, looking after them for my neighbour Kelsey, gone on holiday with the kids to Italy. Or they might still be at Bristol airport.

Morning Bob, morning all,

It's been raining through the night and first thing this morning. It has stopped now and looks like it is brightening up a tad.

Off to work now so catch you all later

Ging was looking at pups in a quiet period during her shift last night. Sent me a link, a gorgeous 9 week old Shih Tzu pup

but Jesus . . . . 1400 quid Thank God its way down in Rugby.

Pops and Suzy were less than 500 each, Maya was a gift from a friend after we lost Abby.

It was running quite heavy this morning and when I went out it was quite warm.
No more rain and it seems getting a bit brighter atm.
