I'd be inclined to say there was an excessive amount of talc added to the injection moulding plastic mix on that one.

I’d agree Brian, it should be glass filled, but we all know what our Chinese friends do do save a few pennies!

What coolant is in there. Generally it's a pink OAT isn't it?

Do you know this car then Brian? In other words, are you certain that this part was made in China and you definitely know who fitted it?

Can you see any marks from teeth
I can't.!:
This is a failure, which I have not seen before. It looks to me to be a poor quality product in the first place.
I would agree it is most likely Chinese.
But the OP can tell where he bought it, and it can then be deduced.

This is a failure that is totally unacceptable.

I'd go with this. Lol.

We live out in the country and have lots of mice. I have even tried to make traps out of plastic containers. The mice eat their way both IN and OUT of the traps I've made.---

In my workshop they live in my tool cabinets and have eaten through many of my technical manuals. I have had as many as 8 running around my feet while I've been working in there.

The anti-freeze in that pipe should have done them in but they might just have needed it to stop them freezing this cold weather.--
