Looks like I've lost my key too, I ll be having a proper look round tomorrow when it's light, but I think it may have gone in the bin If it has I'm going to need another one, any advice would be helpful.

Did you do anything under the bonnet before you started cleaning? may have inadvertently placed them somewhere under there?
Only suggesting this because I have done it a couple of times. |

Thanks folks, I found it today in another car. It was a bit of a worry as it hadn't been locked for three days. Brian I take your advice, I'll make an an appointment to visit Joules in the new year and get a spare.

If nothing else take a good close up photo of the blade pattern. At least you will have this on record, and will be simple to order from here. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rover-75-...IAAOSw42JZAbOl
Update 17/1/18. Or similar supplier like the one above on ebay show it possible to cut the key accurately from a photograph and have delivery with 1 or 2 days. The innards of the key can then be programmed relatively easily by a number of folks on here. Last edited by Lovel; 17th December 2018 at 13:03.. |

My experience. I passed this link on to a club member last month who bought two keys (hopefully)from the ebay vendor, delivered in two days from supply of a photo. Or perhaps he just searched a bit more on ebay to find the right one? Last edited by Lovel; 17th December 2018 at 13:01.. |
