Come summer, it will be a different matter. The last time I did the Wain Stones walk about two years ago, there was a beautiful house for sale in Chop Gate. I could see myself there as we set off for the walk on an warm August day but changed my mind as we came back down to Chop Gate four hours later absolutely soaked and with walking boots full of water.
