The original posters question can be answered by letting me know what the NNW number is on the white VIN sticker on the ECM casing

Exactly like that Steve, in the case of the ECM pictured, NNW006011 is 131PS with automatic gearbox, without traction control

Smile 116 or 131?

Could anybody help me out with ECU identification. I purchased a new one (second hand) as my old ECU had a water damage so I put the new one on the car and it all seems to work okay. Just out of curiosity, would like to know if the ECU comes from the 116 or 131 model? The seller was not able to tell. The numbers on the ECU are as follow NNN 100 692 and the NNW101521

My Old Ecu was 116.

Thanks a lot

Adam

Of course it doesn't have to be that way.........you could always have your original ECM repaired, and dare I say it reprogrammed........say NNW006990 for instance

It would certainly put a smile on your face
