There have been problems reported on the diesel's oil filter being too short, so didn't seal properly with the lid screwed down tight, effectively allowing unfiltered oil to bypass the filter.

Crosland is just one great name from the past which has been used in a badge engineering exercise, Borg and Beck anyone? Quinton Hazell perhaps??

The biggest killer is this one...... MG Rover, the late oil filters are manufactured by Filtron, which is a trading style of Mann and Hummel

Anyway, I tend to avoid using Eurocarparts for anything if possible, I've found them to stock rubbish in the past, and once bitten twice shy.

I guess we all have different experiences buying stuff. I can't say I keep up to who owns who in the car parts world, not really my thing.

I've had no problems with ECP stuff and would buy again.

As Brian Quite correctly points out .Beware of badge engineering .It is to his credit that he points out his experience and knowledge .As a person who has witnessed packaging swaps .I would say this .Buy from a reputable supplier .Listen to feedback from respected users of said parts
Avoid cheap parts like the plague .They are normally cheap for a reason .Badge engineering throws another spanner in the works so listen to those in the know .You by buying inferior parts are compromising the safety of yourself and others.

I’m fortunate enough to get 50% off at ECP on everything, some stuff I’d definitely avoid though, the prices on the Crossland stuff is worryingly low. The pollen filter I bought broke as I was putting it in, worst £2.50 ever ! Lol
I don’t think there’s much trust in brands anymore, when you buy Bosch or Mann-Hummel, do you still know what it is you’re buying?
