Rover 75 mirror shopping sites; It is listed as 6 wire, 8 wire, 12 wire, what do they mean?

Are we talking wing/door mirror? perhaps electric folding and non electric folding if it is.
If you want a mirror you could place a wanted advert in the wanted section and hopefully someone an help you.

I don't have the details to hand, others will be along with full details I hope.

All the options for mirrors would be electric folding, electrically adjusting the mirror glass up down and side to side, heated glass etc

What wires does the mirror you are presumably replacing have and what functions does your mirror have ?

My mirror is electrically adjustable and heated mirror. There is no auto-fold feature.

Could a knowledgeable member please take a look? What do 6 wires, 8 wires and 12 wires mean for side mirrors listed on shopping sites?

I've no idea what the 12 wire could mean, but I believe the standard non-folding has 6 wires: 2 for horizontal adjustment, 2 for vertical and 2 for the heated function.

I'd guess the folding ones would have an additional 2 wires, making it 8.

Well, do the roewe 750 mirrors fit the rover 75 perfectly, is there any difference between them, has anyone bought/used from china?
