Xirallic is a registered trade name for a range of paints manufactured by Merck Chemicals in Germany. There were/are a arnge of colours unders this name, see here: http://www.merck-chemicals.co.uk/is-...archIndexQuery The one Rover used looks to me suspicously like the colour marketed as Fireside Copper. See here: I'm not sure they would have mixed it themselves as it's a Registered Brand name, and I don't think Merck would have allowed them to change the characteristics. My guess it's only another name.

New Owner of WX06 CZD
just to let you all know I bought WX06 CZD from A.E Wilcox in July this year. The previous owner had only added 400 miles in 4 years. The car is in excellent shape and has had the triple layer gasket fitted by Wilcox. It is currently showing 56,300 miles.
