I'm trying to see if I can attend on Saturday as the weather looks like it might be a little better? Looks pretty grim for most of the weekend though. Richard

I have answered your PM Sunday would most likely be the best, for that other job, therefore you could have the lights looked at the same time, it all depends on how your time I suppose

Glad you have assistance with your brake light switch replacement- do need to be quite supple to change it! If it wasn't purchased from Rimmers and it does work can you post up where you got it as nobody has yet ( to my knowledge ) bought one from anywhere else that works as it should..... Thanks in advance.

I'm not actually convinced the problem lays with the switch to be honest. It may be a red herring, but when I had the wipers go funny on me, at the same time the brake lights where acting up, then when the wipers started to behave I found the brake lights had returned to normal service! The first time I found I had a problem I never tried the wipers, I tested all the other lights, but I never switched the wipers on, so I'm unsure if they are related. Damp / cold weather is the trigger. No doubt about that one!

I have removed my light switch this evening, all pins / terminals look fine, no visible corrosion, no damp around the wires or anything.
I tried to see where the brake light switch is while the lower trim panel was hanging, but I couldn't get myself in the right position to see it! Just that being the fact I know it's going to be a pig to change!
