Evening all, Got a bit of gardening done today although the sunshine soon disappeared from first thing this morning.

It's looking very dark & stormy at present but after a roast pork dinner & a scotch & water in hand I'm as happy as a pig in mud.

Looks like the north Yorkshire dales & Cumbria 'Settle to Carlisle' train Sim is on the cards this evening.

It’s a beautiful cold crisp morning here. What a difference a year makes!! Last May BH we had the highest temp on record and this year we have the coldest.

No wonder we Brits like talking about the weather!!

Morning all - another Monday, another Bank Holiday.............and another piddling wet day - cold too. Still, the garden needs the water so rain saves me having to use paid-for water from the tap

I shall be arranging my day around the final of the World Snooker from Sheffield - although the way Judd Trump was potting them last night, it could all be over by teatime and the evening session won't happen.
