Morning Phil and fellow early risers.

I'm not one for having a lie in, once wake then out of the warm pit I get. Always a few jobs that can be carried out without making a noise.

Heavy rain last night but seems to have eased off this morning.

Waiting on the central heating people to come and have a look at the boiler, has a mind of it's own at the moment.

Went to Falmouth yesterday to collect some model car spares, advertised on Facebook market place, and came away with loads of spares and a further 8 boxed models which none have ever been out of their boxes. And all for £50. One of the models is selling on eBay for £30. Now that's what I call a bargain.

Afternoon, dry and bright here, but bladdy freezing. There is snow on the top of the hills on the south side of the valley. we haven't any, but its forecast for showers amd ice again tonight. Wish I could get some carpet cleaning jobs, get out of the cold for a bit.

It's soup weather

, I'm going to make a chicken lentil soup with the carcass of the chicken we're having for tea tonight.

It keeps changing between sleet & snow here, thankfully nowt sticking.
