First I thank you profusely for sharing all of those many hours. Documenting like this definitely adds many more hours to an already long process.

Thus it is with the outmost respect that I postulate the following.

Could it be possible that the oil came through the piston rings, since the rings were all changed and all done the same way?

I just reviewed this threat and the piston ring threat and you don't mention the ring gap.

What dimension did you use to "gap" your piston rings? Could the source of that information be to blame ?

I am sure the same thought occurred to you, but maybe there are different source of information.
