Default Accelerator Pedal not working

hello everybody!
i have a royal blue 2003 automatic cdti rover 75
is my second diesel 75, and i decide like on first one, to pull cables for subwoofer. i used second hole from upper part from accelerate pedale to pull cable from engine compartiment. everything was ok, music, i was happy until i wanted to move the car, is not accelerating anymore...
it starts normal but idles is 1200 revs and nothing, when i pres brake idle is normal 750-800. Check engine light is on.
i used toaf to look for erors and it showed me:
1- 0120 - accelerator potentiometer
2- 0480 - electric fan
3- 0220 - accelerator potentiometer PGS
i delete all errors and now i dont have check light on message center, idle is normal, but car is still not accelerating...
i need advice, because i dont have to much money this mount to buy unnecesary parts and to go to service, is not my option
sory for my bad english, and thx in advance for help

1st try disconnecting the battery for 30 mins.
Then disconnect any modification if battery reset has no effect.

With someone else moving the accelerator pedal, watch the movement of the throttle linkage on the inlet / injector parts to see if anything has come loose?

If all seems to be connected, then look at the linkage from the pedal end.

If nothing is found, you can then forget that part. Also make sure that nothing has now been restricted (stopped) from moving by the new items you have put in.

Ahoj Phono,

Your diesel has gone into limp mode. This happens when the signal is lost from the throttle potentiometer. When you were pulling the cable through you may have bumped the electrical plug on the throttle pedal. This may cause it to lose it's connection. If the contact of your hand, wrist or arm was firm enough, you may have pulled or broken a wire in or around that plug. Try unplugging and reconnecting it to see if that helps.

Cheers,
Glenn

I disconnect and connect the cable, and now it starts normally, idle is ok, but I still don't have acceleration. Should I buy a sh pedal and replace it? Mine is still ok? What can I do?

I think this means that there is no change in the situation. Did you check that the wires are not damaged or one of them may have come loose from the plug itself? Did you check that wire harness closer to where you pulled the subwoofer power wire through?

I still think it is caused by stressing the harness wires or plug while working in that area. I don't think the pedal potentiometer just coincidentally failed now. Hopefully one of the regulars will jump in and offer their opinions as well.

Cheers,
Glenn

If I move the connector from pedal, idle is going again up to 1500revs...
I stopped engine, connect and disconnect and idle is back... Ideas?

That is the normal default if the pedal assembly fails - the revs rise to allow the car to limp home.
