Default Recommended garage in south Manchester

Head gasket has finally gone after only 38000 which is the go to garage or mechanic to repair HGF and change belts anywhere in south Manchester ,cheers.

Whereabouts in South Manchester are you/is the car? It is a big area.

Are you in the RAC or similar?

They could tow you (front wheels off the ground in small trailing carrier) to Horners at Swinton.

Noticing the "747" in you forum name, your not in Urmston, are you?

Before doing anything, have a read of our Gasket Guide here:
K Series Head Gaskets - Guide

If the garage try to slap the MLS gasket on without checking things over first, you really need to look elsewhere.

I can recommend Horners, they've worked on my cars several times and never had any issues, top notch service and their pricing is reasonable

Had the head gasket done yesterday after getting quotes from both Horners and Mg-rover mobile mechanics. I went with Mats recommendation and Dan arrived yesterday morning and he changed the gasket,timing belt,water pump ancilliary belts and tensioner for the exact price quoted to me and did a fantastic job and the car now runs superbly.I can highly recommend them .
