Default Spongy go faster pedal. :(

Car:- 2002 Conny diesel auto.

I can "blip" my throttle pedal without the engine responding, in fact it seems to be lagging a lot lately, it can't be the turbo because if the engine is slow to respond, ipso facto so will the turbo be.....

As it's a fly by wire system I don't know the cure, can anyone help please? Thank you...

Hows performance overall?

I can't think of what could cause slow revving - but if it seems like you aren't getting 100% throttle there is an (easy) procedure to recalibrate it.

Once the engine "wakes up" it goes very very well, but it needs a good boot to get it going...

Can you rev it out of gear?

Do you get any smoke?

Could be a boost issue - or lack thereof! I blew a hose off a week or two ago and the symptoms were similar. Including the inability to top 60 uphill!

No abnormal smoke...

The engine works fine, in or out of gear, it is just slow to respond to the pedal.

On a wired pedal I would be taking up the slack...

Do you have any kind of diagnostic equipment? A ScanGauge or ELM327 clone will throw live TPS readings.

Irrespective of whether it's the issue - you can recalibrate easily to see if it helps - http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=109638
