Hmm, that seems too good to be true. There must be a reason why it's listed so cheaply.

The ad' has now been removed from Gumtree. I was down in London on Monday when the first entries about it came up on this Forum. I was all ready to be driving back to Manchester in this saloon, but could not get any response from the advertiser, either by phone or answering the ad' on line. Perhaps the owner had second thoughts, after seeing the Forum members' comments and suddenly decided to keep it.
Or, possibly, I suspect that the owner was unaware of the interest from the Forum, hence no response to any of our enquiries.

For me, it was the wrong colour anyway. when I first saw the pictures, I thought it was silver. Only on reading the details, did I find it was gold coloured. That put SHMBO off straight away. If we are to change our Tourer for a saloon, it must be sky blue or silver.

It was nice to be back in our own car last night
