Hi,, thanks for the note! My problem is that I will have three kids rather than two! I've actually started looking for "slimline" car seats. I'm determined to sort it one way or another.
I will avoid Zafira at all costs!!

That's a good point. The hatchback in my SEi gives good practicality.

But the seats go down in the 75 saloon don't they? Do they go totally flat - ie does the seat base lift up as it does in my SEi?

The tourer won't have any more seat space, a huge boot may come in handy with 3 kids

Five in a 75... bit of a squeeze. I think I would get the tourer if I were you. It would still be a bit of a aqeeze though

No more seat width in the tourer but significantly more headroom which might make it easier to get the kids in & out. Also the enormous amount of stuff needed whenever you go out with kids is more easily got in and out of the back of the tourer than the boot of the saloon.

I still prefer the saloon though, nice soft ride!

My ZTT has a lapbelt for the middle seat.

That´s what I meant with -still a sqeeze- As you say tourer a lot better getting things in and out (have a son of 4 months just now). 3 in the back would be tight. Lot more space for all the baby stuff in the tourer as opposed to the saloon (we have both). Don´t think the tourer is a harder ride than the saloon

Fair point! I'm actually not that keen on the look of the tourer - the saloon is a much better looking car IMHO, more aesthetically pleasing
