Back again...... short recess to see mother.... I do think it is a little one sided to compare the MPG and the like between the two types of car the V8 being 4.6ltrs (twice as large in displacement alone)(and heavier) even if it was a more modern unit would still be expensive to run the justification of whether you could run one or not lies solely in the fact do you want one enough. I did, and it made no sense on paper,(so I didn't write it down) but boy it makes me smile I have owned upwards of 25+ cars during my driving life and only one came close to the feeling this gives me an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Mmmmmmmmmmmmm thinking about it' that to made no sense at the time......... So there it is.........if it makes no logical sense but you want it BUY IT Just ask Jake

Go on its only fuel.....then fitt a kenny bell supercharger, change pulley from 9psi to 14psi change pistons, rods,crank,...aux cooling system for box and diff, upgrade brakes and clutch while your there and flywheel...bhp levels could reach 500/700 bhp, anything over 300 bhp on the v8 would shatter the pulley like a biscuit apparently wounder what the fuel cost is then ....dont bear thinking about

I better watch out for the pulley thingy I'm pushing 420bhp and the fuel is slightly better on Mways and slightly worse around town. All the 260 drive train and engine are good for 450-500bhp before you need to replace anything
