Default Best MAF Supplier

This question will have been asked before but as i now know that the maf is up the spout where is the best place to get a original one from don't want a useless copy.
My car has a mafam fitted but as i have no way of knowing if that was part of the problem was thinking of getting a bosch one then i am not left with the problem of new maf and still needing to buy a synergy box to make it work.
Thanks to all on the technical forum that helped send me in the right direction.

This is NOT the MAF for the M47r, it is for the VW. It will work, but run 4% rich which means in a year at 10k miles it would cost you around a tank of diesel, which coincidentally is about the same as it would cost you extra to buy the correct MAF. Bosch do not supply the sensor only for the M47, only supplied with the body as here http://www.worldcarparts.co.uk/CarPa...0/Default.aspx

These look genuine on eBay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-GENUINE-BO...-/170619473592

So you should expect to pay around £165 for a GENUINE correct part for the M47R

Stephen, just out of interest, have you tried cleaning your MAF?

Have you run the car with the MAF unplugged? Did it run better with it unplugged?

A lot think the MAF is out when it isn't. I did, until Russ had it on the T4 and it was fine.

Runs much much better with the maf disconnected, when it started playing up it would die then pull again then die, got worse when it got warm.

I cleaned mine with electrical cleaner, as Chris suggested, and it did make a difference. Since put a synergy on, and even on 1 it is a different car. Ie much better.
