Smile It's Red, but not certain which red

I'm looking at a 53 plate Connie CTD in red, but I'm not that up on which type of red.
All I can say is it is a lighter red than Damson, but was Nightfire Red on Mk2 only ?
I'm thinking its Copperleaf. Sorry guys I have only got the pics on messenger, and I'm not sure how to upload them on here from an I-pad.

Anyway, the upshot of it all is that it is a 53 plate CTD, 2 litre diesel with 83k on the clock, in absolutely lovely condition, and has covered just 5k in the last 5 years.
Owned by a senior citizen who has sadly had to enter a home, and his family just want it gone.
So I bought it. It's in superb condition inside and out.
We only have a certain amount of willpower, and these cars cast their spells on us.
It's down in Surrey, so it's going to be a week or so till I can pick it up.

I hope Jasper doesn't get moody with the new arrival.

I'm just crazy about 75's.

Heather, it's more than likely Copperleaf, Firefrost is a Mk2 colour

If you PM me the registration, I'll check out the build data for you

Also , when you get to see the car again , it is listed on a plate in the passenger door opening .
See here : https://the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/s...int+trim+codes
If it says CDX then it is Copperleaf Red . The best colour …….

Many thanks Chris. Believe me, this example is absolutely unmarked, save for a small scuff on offside of front bumper.
It is Copperleaf, confirmed. Can't wait to go down and pick it up, probably this weekend.

I knew Jasper would take umbrage at the pending arrival of the Connie. He is growling, and scraping from the near side rear wheel. Worn or possibly broken brake pad ?
