I attended the Enfield motoring Pageant over the weekend.

The Whitewebbs Museum put on the Enfield Motoring Pageant every year. And just to add some fun they normally have a competition who see which car club can put on the Best Display. For many years the Jaguar Owners Club have always won, but last year the North London MG Club won and we won the Trophy and a cheque for £100.

Because of the spiralling costs this year they have done away with the cheque but have a Winners Trophy and 3 runners up Trophies. The Military Vehicle club won First place this year, 2nd was us, 3rd was the Jaguar Club and 4th was the American Vanners Club.

Each winning club is the invited to bring there 3 best cars into the arena for the cup presentation. Can you imagine how chuffed, and privileged, I was to be asked to take in The Flying Banana.

No, she is our club mascot and goes by the name of Kirra.
