Hi all,
Just bought my fourth 75 and thought it about time I introduced myself despite registering over 2 years ago! My history of 75s started with a saloon 2.0 V6 Club. Took that past 120,000 and it was starting to get a bit sluggish. So I chucked it in for a saloon 2.5 V6 Connoisseur with 60k on the clock but only had that for 6 months when September last year it was T-boned by a speeder. Straight away I bought another saloon 2.5 V6 Connoisseur, this time an auto. That has been fine for the past year and now we've supplemented that with a 2.5 V6 Auto Connoisseur SE Tourer for load lugging.

I was searching for some tips on Rover 75 rear suspension and found the link on Google
I bought a 1 owner 51.000 mile CDT and the last owner had paid for new rear shocks which were far to stiff and spoiled the ride. Got good advice here! thanks |

How I found the club
Auto gearbox on last car failed bigtime as I was leaving home enroute for Heathrow to visit my daughter in Australia. I knew a friend had just upgraded to a 2004 Rover 75 so I negotiated a deal on the 2002 model he had replaced. Drove it to London and left it with my other daughter whilst I am away in Oz. Discovered a number of "shortcomings" on the drive and am now looking forward to tackling them when I get back in January with the help of the advice on this superb forum.

Hiya, I signed up ages ago, when I bought a nightfire tourer off Him Indoors, but that died of electrics, and I was in a 220 diesel for a year or so... but yesterday I went out on me own and got a Moonstone diesel saloon, so I'm back in the land of Things Which Work. Though now I've said that, I'm expecting to be woken in the night by the alarm going off for no reason...

I came here via the Facebook ZT owners page in search of the fabled VIS master "Stocktake" on the recommendation of Lates from Lates600.

Hi Folks,
Just let you all know that I am a new member of the 75 and ZT OC. I am in the process of getting my hands on a one owner, 35,000 miles 03 plate 1.8 T Petrol "Connie" .Had many many Rovers over years (216, 414, SD1, two P6's ( a 2000 and a 3 1/2) and finally a P4 "95" so I guess I have Rover in the blood you could say. I found the club website by doing an internet search and have already found it useful in doing little jobs when I get my 75 Cheers fer now Phil |

Hi All,
Just thought I would let you all know that I am a new member of the 75 and ZT OC. My name is Alan and I am currently in the process of buying a one owner, 81,000 miles 54 plate 1.8 Petrol Club SE within the next week. To be perfectly honest I have never owned a Rover of any sorts before. I have always had Fords or Vauxhalls in the past. But have decided I wanted a change of car and have always liked the look of the Rover 75. So thought why not get one. I found the club website by doing an internet search and have already found it useful in doing little jobs when I get my 75. Look forward to meeting some of the members at the local meets. |

Hi
Hi,
I came across this website by surfing the net. I´ve got 75 2,5 6V. I am from nearby Prague in The Czech Republic. There are really a handful of these lovely cars in here. Itś a shame, not many car mechanics have gutts to repair them, so it´s a challenge, however, I love my car despite all these obstacles :-). It is great that I can have someone to talk and ask for some advice here. If you ever go to Prague, let me know, we can have a ride together :-) Martin |

reply to your question
Hi Simon I found this site from researching a problem I have on my auto box on my rover 75, I have slip only on fourth gear, and I was able to find a link to this web site.
Many thanks Dave teck1122 |
