Default '54 MG ZT CDTI Black

I am really enjoying my ZT, but as I tend to do after a year of owning any car, I'm getting itchy feet...

I don't know what I want to swap it for, but it needs to be at least as cheap to run as my current diesel, but I'd prefer something even cheaper.

I'm getting an average of 43mpg doing a mix of short & long runs.

There is a project thread here for anyone wanting to see what I've done to it:- http://the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/sh...d.php?t=136894

But a brief summary of the car's spec:-

2004 '54 plate black pearl MG ZT CDTI +
107k miles
Loads of service history & receipts etc.

Some of the good bits:-

160bhp remap
Full turbo back decat stainless exhaust custom made by Tony Banks in Leeds
8.5x18 aftermarket alloys
Double Din (Radioguy) unit, sat nav, Bluetooth, dvd, ipod, sd card etc.
Alcantara interior
Dark oak dash & accessories
Drivers IPK waiting to be installed
No leaks!!
Auto boot lift mod
Dual zone climate control
Mg flip key & spare (& another spare case)
4 very good condition tyres

The one bit that I'm getting sorted is a front bumper repsray, nothing major, just a bottom corner scratch, but will be done before any potential swap, as can be seen in the project thread.

I've not advertised it for sale as I'm not too bothered about getting rid of it, just I know this site gets lots of traffic from other marque owners as well as MGR - and I really would consider anything...

Try me if you'd like!

Ha ha cheers Joe, chances are nothing will come along for swaps, it's a bit of a long shot, but you never know if you don't ask!

I'll get down your way soon with those dash bits too...!

Would I have to keep it permanently below 1500rpm to see 43mpg average...?

How about a copper leaf pearl 2003 75 conny diesel with 12 months mot and 6 months tax. New brakes all round, mg zt dash, heated seats, 8 wheels (one set of Union alloys and another set of standard 15" alloys)
