Two things that would put me off, actually three.. No, four..
EDIT: 5 now.. 1) Rear quarter damage.. Front wing and the two doors it needs are just bolt on, isn't the rear quarter welded..? 2) 101K on a Manual.. Has the clutch ever been replaced? If not, it might be on it's way out pretty soon.. Even if the chap says it has, if he's bought it from a breakers, there probably won't be any proof of it.. 3) It's Moonstone.. I've got nothing against it myself, but it's not everyone's cup of tea.. Not as easy to sell as a Silver one for instance, if that's your intention.. 4) The prices are just crazy low at the moment.. You can quite easily pick up a 75 for sub 1K, so if this is a seller, you won't make a great deal of cash out of it.. Though if you're anything like me, that doesn't matter Plus, it's cloth interior, body coloured mirrors.. Could be poverty spec.. 5) It's gonna have a Cat C or Cat D against it, which means lower resale value again.. With all the recycled parts freely available, I reckon fixing a 75 still makes sense, even with the prices as they are.. Not sure this is the one for you though..

Bit too much work there for my liking. Much better with the "unbolt and bolt back on" type repairs IMHO.

I'd steer clear of the first one, it needs too much money spending on it and it'll be worthless unless your keeping it. The one Lates got is a good project, and Rob75's car, well thats just one great car! Well worth a £1000
