about £3300 trade according to Glass's

Theres one up North with similar spec/miles etc for £3750! IIRC it was silver with Xenon upgrades etc

Just checked AutoTrader and that one has now sold sadly! There are huge price differences at present so it would pay to be fairly cheeky with your offer

I've seen a black zt saloon 04 or 54 in Keighley outside a dealer for £2500 I think, could have been a 1.8 turbo rather than a v6.

Retail, between 4k and 4.5k would have to be immaculate and FSH though.
You might consider asking for a longer warranty as part of the price. Plenty of scope for bargaining.

Guess £4k would be about the right price at a dealer as the car has really low mileage, as long as it is mint with FSH and a good strong colour - pearl black, starlight silver or X-power grey. Remember if you go for an unpopular choice like a flip colour, yellow or white you will have trouble selling on again. Take a few hundred off for an unpopular colour or add a few hundred on if it has a few extras like alcantara seats, parking sensors, xenon headlights etc.

Condition is ALL in this market. I would be suspicious of a cigarette burn, it indicates sloppiness by the owner.

I would think a longer warranty (12 months) should be included, plus some VED, say 6 months. I suggest take the car on a long test drive like I did with my 75 (purchased in Feb 2007). This is what decided me.

If you don't like it walk away, there are plenty more.

fraser, does the 2.5 kv6 have lots of low down torque. How does it compare to the 2.8 v6 cologne?
