Default My 75 Broken Into

I say broken into, there's no sign of damage & nothing but loose change from the ashtray has been taken as there's nothing in there of any value or interest to these types of lowlife.
However there's no power whatsoever so l'm thinking that has something to do with the method they used to gain entry (l confess to being surprised they managed it without breaking a window). Does anyone have any pointers as to what l should be looking for, a fuse perhaps? The boot is currently unlocked too, l opened it & it now won't latch closed.
I'll likely give the AA a call but just say there's no power.

A quick chat with Andy (Shiner) & another quick inspection & it looks like the alarm must have flattened the battery. The clock is still working & the interior light is just flickering.
I'll remove & charge it.

Alarms don't normally flatten the battery as they are supposed to shut off after a few minutes.

Hmm, l normally double check but it's possible l suppose. The battery is dead flat though & only a year old so we'll see tomorrow.
Supposed to be getting MoT as well so fingers crossed.

It happens. Years ago my folks, my wife and I went for a meal in Edinburgh, went up in my father's car. We got back to the car after the meal and he realised he'd left the keys in the ignition!

Yes, of the two options l'd prefer that l left it open. But what drained the battery?

The thief turned the interior light (or headlights?) on and left it on?
Unlikely but you never know. ???

The headlights weren't turned on & the interior light would take days to drain a good battery if it didn't turn off automatically.

If they had knocked the indicator stalk they may have turned the parking light on.
