Question OE Xenon dipped beam fail

Just noticed this today from the error message on the IPK. Offside dipped beam has failed (typical as the MOT is looming!). When switched on there is a brief (ie about a second) light from the burner then nothing. The wiring is ok as I protected it from chaffing some years ago. Now has anyone had this before and is it simply time for new bulbs from Matt or could it be the ballast that’s gone?
