Default Offside Drive Shafts

Got a problem on the V6 auto.

I jacked it up to try and track down a wheel bearing issue, alas all tested ok.

But the drivers front wheel has some play in it. Only in the side to side movement and it appears only to move on the end near the bumper.

So off came the wheel, all bush's have no play but I gave the drive shaft a pull and it moves a fair bit in and out and makes the same noise it does when the wheel is moved side to side.

So question is can you get the inner and outer joints or is it a full drive shaft change?

How quick a job is it to change one?

Most importantly does it have to be removed from the box as I have just had the gearbox fluid changed at some expense.
