worse comes to worse, there might be a car for a member to buy to strip down/repair themselves

another update for everyone
Still no refund. Dealer has employed some cowboy pretend solicitors called 'Legal Solutions 4 u' who are playing every trick in the book to delay court action (getting a covid-19 sob story at the moment). Dealer's new line is he will give us a refund if the cars is "in the same condition as at the point of sale". (its in a much better condition after the carpet swap that's for sure). I tracked the previous owner down on facebook who confirmed he didn't cut a hole out of the carpet. that means the dealer did it and drilled holes into the floor. I have screenshots of this conversation. In short, SK autobahn Ltd are the very definition of rogue traders and we will find out in the next few weeks if it's refund or court. |

final update:
dealer finally came round and took the car away and paid us in full. quite the ordeal but perseverance was key! |
