Paint code
Looking for my paint code. I know it is on the VIN plate
But can't find it. It is not on door pillar or in the engine |

Your paint code should be on a plaque located at the bottom of the left hand (passengers side) B-pillar, visible when opening the front left door. There's a diagram here: https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...ad.php?t=20831
Alternatively, have a look through that link and see which paint matches yours, this isn't a fool proof method though as some colours can be quite similar to each other.

Paint Code
Thanks Matt.
No VIN plate there but checked against colours and decided it must be platinum gold. It is a gold car but looks silver .cross checked and they only did the one gold in 2005. Thanks so much |

Not if it's got the MOT emission limits on it - if you remove it they test to a higher default limit. Earlier cars didn't have the emissions limit stamped on them.
