As said you can switch from one to another at will.
I have all on board purely for Maintenance checks etc.

I would avoid Chrome at the moment as although very fast there are some security Issues and tracking user queries.

Safari although designed for Apple is an Excellent Browser and you can download the version for PC.
My Browser of choice.

Do not use IE8 at present as not functioning properly with all areas of our site.

Now using Firefox for this site (after a bit of hassle with AVG firewall).

Will see how things go.

Came back in tonight on IE, OK first reply, then lost the plot again.
Now on Firefox.
Will see if it holds up.

Let us know how you get on. Hopefully though, FF will have solved the problem.

Assuming that FF is OK, then what has happened to IE? I have been chatting on here happily for months with no problems until recently.

Have you downloaded any recent MS Updates?
You could always roll back Computer to an earlier point where working.

No, haven't done any updates recently. Tend to keep clear until I can read if they give problems!

This is something that comes and goes with the moon, no pattern at all, but really frustrating.
HELP

Sounds very similar to a problem I had a couple of years ago. Ken kindly spent time on the phone with me (I'm a PC numpty) and sorted it. When asked what we had done he said "removed 3rd Party Cookies"

Quick update.
Firefox has given no problems at all, so the problem is with IE, but I can't think why. I have noticed a couple of differences between the two during login and logout, so will have to observe closely and jot down the differences, then post on here for our resident PC experts to puzzle over.
Thanks for the assistance.
