what do you people think
of petrol addatives such as redex
any use for my 75 18 club se
or a waste of money

It's been debated a lot, and I see many people giving wholehearted approval.

That always smacks to me of the "My grandad smoked 60 a day and lived to 104" argument.

I have never seen any empirical, independent evidence.

The occasional run through with Redex just to keep things clean will certainly not do any harm and may make things run a little smoother (more so in a diesel) but it's far from essential and you can always chuck it in as a cheap first stab to see if it helps with minor running problems, when they do occur.

Octane boosters etc will do nothing for your engine.
