Have you got an external mic? if so, have you turned it on in the options menu?

If you havent got an external mic, still check the options menu as if external mic option is on then it'll over ride the built in mic.

If none of the above then chances are the inbuilt mic is dead.

One of the main reasons I got rid of my Navall 3. I tried the built in microphone and an external one. I could hear the caller but they could not hear me. All the settings were correct but just didn't work. The people said they heard a lot of buzzing and static and was impossible the hear me.

Regards John

I use an external mic on my Navall 3 and no problems. It was a mic from an old handsfree unit I had installed before i installed my Navall 3.

I use an external mic too, a good quality one (already had it for voice recorder) costing £22 ish, cannot recall exact amount.
I have read on here that other members have used far cheaper ones with good results so that means cost is not everything.
Ken.
