Sat Nav not working. after service - Page 2

Hello Again,

Well garage say they never disconnected battery,
I believe them, As they are old friends of mine.
Guess easy way is to blame them lol
But, I just want it working,So if anyone has the unit, I would be pleased to purchase one, Identified as Mk 3.from online pictures!
I know the sat nav was working last time I used it,Which might have been as long as a month ago.
After having a close look at Boot unit, The light is on at times, I have an idea,that its not reading disc as it should, As it spits it out the disc now and then!
It does the same with my original disc, that's a 2007 one.
I'll take the unit out carefully and check it over,
I think,I have all the gear to repair it, as its been a hobby many years.
Spent most me life on working on TV ect ect.
