Brim to brim towing
I don't usually bother, but here are my figures for a cold start with a full tank from home, towing 273.7miles then topping up..
273.7miles x 35.2Litres = 35.35mpg. That is in daylight, towing 1350Kg, hitting a small amount of traffic and via the Welsh mountains (Devils Bridge) to Pembrokshire.

Towing a caravan the size of yours, that's a more than acceptable fuel return. Enjoy your break..

Seems good, mine weighs 1300, and averaged 30mpg but my thermostats stuck open and doesn't usually get upto temp even when towing, so I'd expect something similar if I sorted it.
Btw, I've still got those plugs for you but have been so busy on the weekends I just haven't had chance to send them. Going to try and do it tomorrow if I get time

Agreed, you need to get everything spot on to get the best figures - though my MAF is supposed to be producing some odd output figures.

For towing that kind of weight behind you, its an excellent figure.Especially around the area you mentioned.
